Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to browse our piñatas and request a quote, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we've built in
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
- Clear headings, labeled form fields, and descriptive text for meaningful images.
- Text and background colors checked for readable contrast.
- A pause button for the homepage video. Motion is reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages that work on phones, tablets and desktops, and when zoomed in.
The accessibility button
Use the small accessibility tab on the left edge of the screen to:
- Turn on a profile: Seizure Safety, Low Vision Support, ADHD Friendly, Reading & Cognitive Support, Keyboard Navigation, Screen Reader Compatibility or Older Adults.
- Change text size, switch to a readable font, underline links and add text spacing.
- Use a big cursor, highlight titles and highlight whatever you hover over.
- Choose dark, light or high contrast, monochrome or low saturation.
- Pause motion (including the homepage video and confetti), hide images and mute sounds.
- Use a reading mask or reading guide, and highlight keyboard focus.
Your settings are saved on your device. "Reset Settings" puts everything back, and "Hide Interface" hides the tab for your visit.
Known limitations
- The homepage video and TikTok videos come from Facebook and TikTok. Their players may not fully meet accessibility standards, and they don't include captions we control.
- Some decorative animations remain until you pause them with the accessibility button or your device's reduced-motion setting.
